2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4x4 with the hard to find 6.2L V8 EcoTec3 and the max towing package. The 6.2L V8 has
420 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque, and the maximum trailer weight rating is up to 12, 000 lbs. This motor is naturally
aspirated, not turbo charged for longevity.
Lots of power with great fuel economy -- I consistently get over 22 MPG on highway with a travel speed between 70
and 75 MPH. My neighbor has the same 4x4 truck with the 5.3L EcoTec, and he cannot get over 20 MPG.
I custom ordered this truck in March of 2014, but did not receive it until May 2014 because the motor and heavy
duty axles were on national back order. This is as close as it gets to a ¾ ton with pulling power but still in a
½ Ton. At 1, 500 miles, I changed the oil in the engine, rear end, and transfer case to Amsoil. I also purchased
an oil separator to stop PCV oil mist from entering the combustion chamber. Look this up on the corvette forums.
The 6.2 V8 is basically the corvette motor.
Non-smoker, no kids, no pets, meticulously maintained -- truck is like new inside and out. Never been in an
accident, all original glass, clean title.
